Worldwide Water Supplies was founded in 2010 in Durbanville, Cape Town, with a simple mission: to provide Western Cape families and businesses with reliable access to clean, safe water. What started as a family-run operation has grown into a trusted name in water solutions across the region.
Our founder, Johan van der Merwe, saw firsthand the challenges that Cape Town residents face with water quality and supply — especially during the drought years. From borehole water high in iron and manganese to municipal water with taste and odor issues, he knew there had to be better solutions available at fair prices.
Today, we've installed over 10,000 water systems for homes, wine estates, farms, and commercial properties across the Western Cape. Our team of certified technicians brings decades of combined experience to every project, with deep knowledge of local water conditions in areas like Durbanville, Stellenbosch, Paarl, and the Northern Suburbs.
